Rescue is a community sport
Perros de Baja formed when neighbors started pooling gas money for transports and spare crates for litters left near the highway. Today we are still small, still obsessed with details, and still powered by people who show up.
Mission
We rescue dogs in vulnerable situations, provide veterinary care and foster placement, and prepare them for adoption with families who understand patience. We prioritize transparency, local partnerships, and kindness in every handoff.

Why Baja California
The coast is mobile—families cross for work, tourists pass through, and dogs get caught in-between. Shelters do heroic work with tight resources; we focus on coordination: fostering networks, vetting clinics, fundraising, and long-distance adoptions when a dog's perfect person lives one border away.
